One Pot Green Lamb Soup

The Lamb Soup that Loves You Back

This is another soup that my family loves, and it loves us! One Pot Green Lamb Soup is not only delicious but it is full of superfood vegetables. I will list the benefits but this soup is guaranteed to get your family eating greens from which they may otherwise recoil. Won’t eat kale? No problem! Broccoli is yuk? I can fix that! This soup will feed your family no less than 5 different vegetables in one sitting so if you serve this you deserve a nutrition medal.

Benefits – The List Is Endless

Some of the benefits of One Pot Green Lamb Soup are….

Kale – vitamin K for blood health Broccoli – calcium for strong bones Zucchini – vitamin A for vision health Parsley – for vitamin C for immunity Peas -manganese and potassium for anti hypertensive properties and heart health

The list is actually endless. But the best thing is this soup tastes amazing and includes wonderful superfoods. The fact that it includes lamb adds some protein and extra flavour. But the amount of lamb is really only less than 100g per person so it is not overloaded with saturated fats from the meat. And you get the benefits of iron. The next best thing is it’s a one pot meal so you won’t have endless washing up. And it really doesn’t take long to cook – about 45 minutes including prep which isn’t too bad.

Why Is One Pot Green Lamb Soup A Great Choice?

I actually love making soups on a regular basis. They are usually one pot meals that are so easily digested. Soups are healthy and nutritious, preserving the nutrients of the ingredients. They also leave you feeling full so you are less likely to go looking for extras after your meal. Soups are easily scalable so you can save extra for lunch the next day, another meal or simply freeze to stock up for when you are short on time.

Let me know if you try this soup. I would love your feedback!
