Tomato and Cannellini Beans With Grass Fed Beef Meatballs
When I made this meal of Tomato and Cannellini Beans with Grass Fed Beef Meatballs the plight of our farmers was not nearly as drastic as it is now. After years of drought, then to have weeks of severe bush fires ravaging rural communities the plight of our farmers is even more grim. So this post is dedicated to those who are the victims of fire and drought. It is also dedicated to those helping bush fire and drought affected communities. Where would we be without our primary producers? And where would we be without those who work tirelessly and voluntarily to save the homes and properties of those most in need at the moment?
Tomato and Cannellini Beans with Grass Fed Beef Meatballs: Use Fresh, Local Produce to Support Local Farmers
While it is hard to see hope in this awful situation in Australia all I can think of is how we as a community can stand together and get through such tough times. Australians are good at that. So when you plan meals in the coming weeks and months, choose fresh Australian produce and grass fed meats to encourage primary producers to get back on their feet. And if you can, donate to help victims of fires and drought and also help those who give up their valuable time to save lives and property.

This is a simple meal that is really enjoyable. It incorporates delicious grass fed meat with fresh Mediterranean flavours. The prep time is short and easy. And it is a meal that everyone from the youngest to the oldest in your family will enjoy. I serve it with and without brown rice. You could incorporate another carb such as potato or pasta if you like. For myself I have these Tomato and Cannellini Beans With Grass Fed Beef Meatballs on their own in the sauce with an accompanying salad. Trust me, it is delish!
